Meet the people behind Keane Studios.
BILL
FOUNDER & CEO
Bill is the fearless leader and CEO of Keane Studios. He holds the degree Craftsman Photographer from Professional Photographers of America, and is a member of Rotary and Executives Association of San Diego. He hails from Los Angeles County and started a wedding photography business out of his dorm room while in college. His passion for photography came from his parents’ collection of photographs from their childhood and generations before, and how it helped him connect with his family history. The deep appreciation for capturing memories and having a staff that feels like family is what Keane Studios was built on. Bill’s favorite place in the world is the Big Island in Hawaii, or the kitchen, cooking up a meal for his wife, Mary.
MARY
ART DIRECTOR
Mary is a UCSB alum, painter, beach lover, and Bill’s right-hand-lady whom we are lucky to have as Keane Studios’ Art Director. With her eye for composition, detail and appreciation for photography as an art form, she makes sure care and attention is given to the large-scale portraits created at Keane Studios. In her free time, she enjoys gardening, spending time with her Corgi Auggie, and greeting the birds that visit her garden.
DAVID
GENERAL MANAGER & HEAD PHOTOGRAPHER
With a Bachelors of Science in Technical Photography, Dave puts his amazing lighting and posing techniques to good use both in the studio and at the beach as the head photographer and manager of Keane Studios. His favorite part of being a Photographer is connecting with the people and collaborating with them to create beautiful portraits. When he isn’t behind a camera, he enjoys spending time on the golf course or sipping peach bellinis at happy hour with friends.
KIM
MARKETING & SALES MANAGER
Kim is the studio's communications guru! She is behind any email, social media post, graphic or visual you see. As a specialist in marketing and sales, you'll be sure to see her projects everywhere! Kim also loves the outdoors, and you can often find her camping, hiking, and on long walks with her boyfriend and their dog Rema.
STEPHANIE
FINANCE MANAGER
Stephanie has been with Keane Studios for over a decade and this place would not be the same without all of her hard work behind the scenes as the finance manager. A self proclaimed Crazy-cat-lady, she spends her free time with her family, cheering on her oldest son at his baseball games, or enjoying a day at the beach.
ANGELA
PHOTOGRAPHER & OPERATIONS MANAGER
As a Keane Studios portrait photographer, Angela enjoys making people feel confident in front of the camera and loves when someone leaves a session thinking “well that was easy,” because portrait photography should be fun! Some of her favorite things aside from photography are traveling with friends, talking about her house plants, and dancing around at rock shows.
TROY
PORTRAIT CONSULTANT
A transplant from Michigan, but now a self proclaimed San Diegan, Troy began his interest in photography while on active duty in the United States Marine Corps. It didn't take long for photography to become a passion to make creative and memorable images. One of Troy's favorite things about being a part of the Keane Studios family is that he gets to work with two of his friends that he worked with in years past. Now, with over 10 years experience with photography and filmmaking he is excited to help seniors and families secure their most cherished memories!
AMANDA
CLIENT LIAISON & PORTRAIT CONSULTANT
During her 13 years as a wedding photographer, Amanda has developed an appreciation for capturing the beauty of quiet and unseen moments, and turning them into art. As a Keane Studios portrait consultant, she guides families in making the perfect portrait choices to admire and cherish at home. Amanda enjoys traveling, spending time with her family, and hopes to travel to India someday.
CHRISTI
PHOTOGRAPHER & PORTRAIT CONSULTANT
Christi has been photographing high school seniors for over 15 years and enjoys getting to know a little about each of them during their sessions. She aspires to make each session a fun experience, capturing each individual’s personality. She loves when students bring their sports gear, music instruments, and other fun props to their sessions! Outside of the studio she loves traveling, hiking, and wine tasting with family and friends.
DANIELLE
PORTRAIT CONSULTANT
Danielle is fascinated with human psychology. She has a passion for understanding and unlocking the potential of the mind & is dedicated to self-improvement. She enjoys collaborating with seniors & their families & being able to create tailored solutions that satisfy their needs.
BRYAN
PORTRAIT CONSULTANT
Originally from Northern California, Bryan moved to San Diego to study biology at UCSD. Outside of his studies, he loves to have a laugh and keep conversations light. With a positive energy, Bryan brings a warm and friendly energy to the studio.
SIM
PRODUCTION MANAGER
Sim grew up in sunny Palm Springs and developed her passion for photography as a staff photographer for the Daily Bruin. As the Production Manager for Keane Studios, she loves being a part of creating beautiful and timeless portraits that families will cherish for years to come. On her days off, you can find Sim in a cozy coffee shop or exploring local vintage shops with friends.
KAYLA
PHOTOGRAPHER & EDITOR
A San Diego native, an avid road-tripper, competitive soccer player, and astrophotography enthusiast, Kayla loves the way photographs can be enhanced and presented to tell stories and document moments in time. Her passion and energy make her a great Editor, sorting through portraits with fresh eyes and preparing them to be viewed by clients.
DAVID
SUPERVISING EDITOR
David loves seeing his past clients around his hometown of Carmel Valley. He’s been with Keane Studios almost every summer since he graduated from Canyon Crest Academy, and recently earned his Bachelors in Photography. He loves connecting with his community and making the senior portrait process as painless as possible. If he’s not in the studio, you can usually find him speeding through an escape room, playing video games, or reading a book at home.
LAUNEY
PHOTOGRAPHER
Blond curls that you just can't miss! Launey has created seniors portraits for over 30 years and may have even captured your parents graduating. He began by creating modeling portraits for friends then grew into senior, family and wedding portraits over time. Launey is a real visual artist with a detailed eye trying to capture the best in each of you. Along with photography, he also loves creating costumes, roller skating and enjoying a nice walk on the beach.
LIBERTY
CLIENT LIAISON
Growing up in Tehachapi CA, Liberty developed a great love for photography and nature. This love for photography brought her down to San Diego where she began to pursue a career in the arts. Between studying at the city college for a degree in photography, working at Keane Studios, and more… Liberty’s life revolves around a camera. Liberty also enjoys hiking, camping, and the great outdoors as it is constant inspiration for her work and brings her much joy.
NORA
CLIENT LIAISON
Nora grew up in Wildomar, CA before moving to San Diego for college. She has a passion for learning how and why things work; that is why if she does not have an answer for you right away, she will keep searching until she finds it. A lover of many things, Nora enjoys game nights with friends, watching films and series, playing tennis, rocking out at concerts, and searching for items to add to her curio cabinet.
